Thank you for applying to become a Yfoundations Youth Advisor. 

Applications are sought from young people 18-28 years old with relevant life experience and an interest in youth, community, and health work.

As a Youth Advisor, you will have the opportunity to participate in either the Youth Homelessness Representative Council (YHRC) and/or the Youth Sexual Health Advisory Group (YSHAG), as well as other advisory roles

The Youth Homelessness Representative Council (YHRC) plays an important role addressing issues that affect young people at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness. The group meet 5 times a year and is a great opportunity to meet like minded people, learn new skills, and have your voice heard.

The Youth Sexual Health Advisory Group (YSHAG) advises and supports NSW Health and Yfoundations address issues of young peoples sexual health, and improving our sexual health promotion messaging. YSHAG meet on an adhoc basis in focus groups and one-on-one consultations.

Youth Advisors will receive a $50 Woolworths Gift Card for every meeting attended, plus travel costs covered.
