2024-25 CTE Scholarship Application

This scholarship is for any 10th, 11th, and 12th grade student in Santa Cruz County who is enrolled in a Career and Technical Education course or program. Please submit a short essay response (500 words or less) or video (3 minutes and 30 seconds or less) answering the following questions by midnight, February 10, 2025. If you are providing a video submit it to yourfutureisourbusiness@gmail.com.

7.Please submit a short essay response (500 words or less) OR link to your video (3 minutes or 30 seconds less) answering the following: 
  • Briefly tell us about your background (where you grew up, interests, family, etc.)
  • What classes have you taken and what have you learned from them so far?
  • What is a quote, piece of advice, or knowledge from your CTE class(es) that has helped you learn more about yourself or the world?
  • How have you benefited from the CTE program?
  • Who are the most influential people to you and why?
  • What is the most interesting thing you learned from a career panelist, career speaker, job, or job shadow, internship, or other experience in your community?
  • What are your life, career, and educational goals, and what is your plan to achieve them?
