YFIOB Career Exploration Scholarship 2024-25 Survey

Your Future Is Our Business (YFIOB) is excited to announce its 2024-25 Career Exploration Scholarship. Students will have the opportunity to win one of five $1,000 scholarships. This scholarship is for Santa Cruz County students in grades 10th-12th interested in improving their academic and technical skills to discover a fulfilling and successful career. This scholarship can be utilized in exploring different types of career options such as a post-secondary or trade program and/or to attend work-based learning opportunities such as after-school programs, summer camps, and other related career programs.

All applicants must complete this survey and attend a financial literacy course provided by YFIOB this summer (date TBD). The course will be offered via zoom and will be no longer than two hours long. Multiple dates will be offered. YFIOB will do its best to accommodate the student's availability.

**This survey includes an essay response ( no more than 1000 words), a video testimonial 1 minute long, and a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or school administrator. Please email your video to yourfutureisourbusiness@gmail.com

Funds will be distributed after completion of the financial literacy course. The application deadline is February 10, 2024. Please note that if you are unable to complete any part of the application, please notify us directly.
