We Appreciate Your Input!

The Great Lakes–St. Lawrence River Adaptive Management (GLAM) Committee is seeking input from property and business owners that have been directly affected by the high water levels on the shoreline of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River in 2019. The following questionnaire allows property owners to submit information on the extent of flooding, erosion, damage to shoreline structures, and related damage to residential and business shoreline properties. The questionnaire should take about 20 minutes to complete, depending on extent of damage being reported on.

Note: Questions that are marked with an * are mandatory questions that need to be answered in order to proceed to the next question.

The GLAM Committee would like to know how conditions at your property change for different water level conditions. Please feel free to complete the questionnaire again and submit further photos using the same address.

Please share the link with others who may also have been impacted and be sure to upload your photos.

If you experience technical difficulties while completing the questionnaire, or have questions about the questionnaire please contact the GLAM Committee at GLAM@ijc.org.

Further information about the GLAM Committee can be found on its website.

** This questionnaire is a modified version of one previously developed at Cornell University with support from New York Sea Grant that was conducted along the USA Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence River Shoreline in the summer of 2017 and then adapted by the GLAM Committee in the fall 2017 and covered all of Lake Ontario-St. Lawrence River. It has been modified again to allow responses for the entire Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River system.
