Comprehensive care and treatment of patients who may, alongside other disorders, suffer from Substance Use Disorders.
Comprehensive treatment requires us to meet the patient where they are, and walk with them through their personalised journey of recovery.
The high risk of relapse and danger of overdose death requires us to teach patients and their families about emergency interim management of overdose emergency, and pre-provision of the opioid antagonist naloxone.
