COMMUNITY INPUT SURVEY

The Belmont Cultural Council has served Belmont for 35 years, distributing over $200,000 in over 300 grants.  The Council is collecting opinions to help us set our funding priorities for next few years.

Sample grantees include Porchfest, Belmont Council on Aging, the Belmont Gallery of Art, the Belmont Arts Association (“Beautifying Belmont’s Transformer Boxes) Public Art Project, Payson Park Music Festival, Belmont World Film Family Festival, Benton Library, Mass Audubon/Habitat cultural programs in our schools and library, and more

The Belmont Cultural Council is a volunteer committee appointed by the Belmont Select Board and is a part of a network of local and regional cultural councils which receive funding through the Massachusetts Cultural Council (a central state agency). Funds are then regranted to individuals and organizations to promote excellence, access, education and diversity in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences in Belmont.
