We are thrilled to see you being interested in BSSA 2019!The IV Baltic Summer School of Anthropology (BSSA) will take place in August 14-18, 2019 Cesis, Latvia.
Theme of coming summer school will be PLAN-B: Horizontal Metropolis & Shrinking Society. We will host 60 graduate level students who will attend seminars, present their researches and participate in design sprint setting to produce ideas for smart shrinking of Western population. We plan to bring together students and scholars from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and other Baltic sea region countries that will represent diverse disciplines of Social Anthropology, Urban Studies, Design, Urbanism and Architecture.

Participation fee include academic program, housing in dorm room, lunch and dinner, all meals will be vegetarian. Vegan, carnivorous, lactose free etc diets should be arranged separately.
