CHAPCA Positive Hospice Reinforcement Campaign Survey

Help Shape CHAPCA’s Positive Hospice Reinforcement Campaign.

CHAPCA is developing a statewide public awareness campaign to help Californians understand what hospice truly is and what it is not. The Positive Hospice Reinforcement Campaign will share authentic stories that highlight trust, compassion, and quality, while addressing and correcting negative media narratives about hospice care.

Your input is essential.
By completing this short survey, you will help CHAPCA identify the most meaningful messages, stories, and truths that restore confidence in hospice care among patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

About the Campaign
This initiative will include:
Video storytelling: three testimonial videos featuring families, caregivers, patients, and providers, and one animated explainer video titled “What Hospice Is and Isn’t.”
Print materials: brochures, posters, and infographics for community use, available in both English and Spanish.
Audio messages: radio spots featuring real voices of caregivers, physicians, and families.
All materials will be culturally adaptive, bilingual in English and Spanish, and audience-conscious, created in partnership with FCE to ensure authenticity and impact.

Your feedback will guide how hospice is represented statewide and help us celebrate the compassionate, quality care that defines our field.
