*Note: Non-rotating Committee members are elected annually, i.e. members serve one year and may be asked to serve again the following year. Rotating Committee members serve three years and must rotate off for a minimum of one year before serving again.

Children's Ministry Team (Rotating) -- Works with Children's Minister in planning and implementing the overall ministry to children and their families. Serves 3 years.

Student Ministry Team (Rotating) -- Works with Youth Minister in planning and implementing the overall ministry to youth and their families. Serves 3 years.

Adult Activity Committee (Non-rotating) -- Plans variety of activities for adults of all ages. Elected annually.

Senior Adult Committee (Non-rotating) -- Plans variety of activities for members who are 55+. Elected annually.

Evangelism Committee -- (Non-rotating) Responsible for leading and promoting evangelism and outreach of the church through visitation, training and witnessing. Elected annually.

Homebound Committee -- (Non-rotating) Plans and leads in ministering to members who are homebound. Ministry may extend to parents of church members who live in the community. Elected annually.

Hostess Committee -- (Non-rotating) Assists the church hostess in formulating and recommending to the church policies for the kitchen and for communicating the policies to church members, and are responsible for church wide fellowship and arrangements for visiting evangelists or conference leaders. Elected annually.

New Church Member Committee (Non-rotating) -- Assists new members with sponsors, coordinate new member classes, receive, welcome and assist new members toward getting involved in the Church activities. Elected annually.

Nominating Committee -- (Rotating) Recommends to the church all church-related leadership positions filed by volunteers in all volunteer positions of the church. Serves 3 years.

Personnel Committee -- (Rotating) Assists the church in matters related to employed personnel, including preparing up-to-date job descriptions, developing an employee manual, and recommending salary scales. Does not have authority to reprimand any paid staff member. Serves 3 years.

(Property and Space Committee -- (Rotating) Assists the church in matters related to property and space. Its work includes such areas as maintaining all church properties for ready use, recommending the use of church space, recommending policies regarding use of properties, recommending to the personnel committee employment of maintenance personnel, and assigning responsibility to personnel for supervision. Serves 3 years.

Stewardship Committee -- (Rotating) Assists the church in stewardship planning, stewardship promotion, and financial administration. Develops and recommends to the church an annual church budget. Plans and directs the church’s budget subscription allocations. Makes recommendations, financial policies and procedures, and recommends to the church council an overall stewardship information plan. Serves 3 years.

Sympathy Committee -- (Non-rotating) Assists grieving families by coordinating and/or preparing a sympathy meal in conjunction with a funeral service. Elected annually.

Ushers & Greeting Committee -- (Non-rotating) Greet people as they enter and leave the church, seat people at the proper time, provide bulletins and or other materials at the time of seating. Elected annually.

Public Relations Committee -- (Non-rotating) Discovers the public relation needs and choose the means of communications to persons inside and outside the church. The committee is responsible for discovering what needs to be communicated and for communicating with the proper audience. Elected annually.

Long Range Planning Committee -- The primary purpose of the long-range planning committee is to develop the church’s program of work for three to seven years. When this committee’s recommendations have been approved by the church the committee will dissolve until the need arises. When the need arises the church council will recommend that a new committee be nominated. The suggested duties of this committee are listed below:
1.) Discover the planning needs. 2.) Leading in setting church goals. 3.) Plan strategies for reaching goals. 4. ) Present the long-range plan to the church for approval. 5.) Complete the long-range plan.

Christmas Decorating Committee -- (Non-rotating) Plans and decorates decorations for sanctuary at Christmas. Elected annually.

Flower Committee -- (Non-rotating) Responsible for securing, arranging, and disposing of floral arrangements for church services and special events at church. Elected annually.

Music Committee -- (Non-rotating) Works with Minister of Music and is responsible for leading and implementing the music program. Elected annually.

Operation Christmas Child Committee -- (Non rotating) -- Coordinates and leads in collecting boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Elected annually.

Missions Committee --- (Non-rotating) Seeks to discover possibilities for missions projects, shares findings with church program organizations, and serves the church in establishing an conducting such missions projects as may be assigned to it. The committee shall consist of mission organizational leaders. Elected annually.

Bus Committee -- (Rotating) Sees that the bus is properly used and maintained and to recommend to the church policies and rules that will govern the use of the bus. The chairman of the bus committee will have the responsibility of administering the bus policies and bus committee decisions. Serves 3 years.

Historical Committee -- (Non-rotating) Preserves and uses the historical records of the church. The committee is especially concerned with gathering and preserving available church records, recording full and accurate records, and using the records to help members understand and appreciate their heritage and mission. Elected annually.

Safety and Security Team -- (Non-rotating) -- Works to insure a safe and secure environment for church sponsored activities. Elected annually.
