Castlereagh Drought Plan Survey
Introduction
Gilgandra and Warrumbungle Shire Councils have received funding through the Regional Drought Resilience Planning Program to develop the Castlereagh Country Drought Resilience Plan.
The program is jointly funded by the Australian Government and NSW Government under the Future Drought Fund.
The program acknowledges that significant opportunities exist to learn from previous droughts and to commence development of a more strategic approach to preparing the entire community for future drought events.
This short survey is vital in capturing the key ideas about what works well and what could be improved to inform the development of a Drought Plan specifically for the Gilgandra and Warrumbungle Local Government Areas.
This is a confidential survey and responses are be identified.
