The CSW is looking into arranging a group Hallowe'en event for families (or just the young-at-heart!) attending SMT St. Louis. In order to gauge the level of interest among SMT members, we have created this survey consisting of five questions on event preference, number of adults and children in your group, any special transportation needs, additional comments, and name/contact info (optional).
Please note that answering these questions will not commit you to participating. Once we have a general idea of the level of interest, and which event members and their families are most interested in, we will use this information to investigate costs of group transportation, and to prepare an application for a subvention grant to help make this event as affordable as possible. At a later time, once the conference program is available and we all have a better idea of our schedules and travel plans, the CSW will send out information on the "winning" event, including costs for families. At that time we will ask for confirmation, but not now.
If possible, please complete this survey by June 30. While the survey will remain open after that date (and you will be able to return to the survey to update your information), we would appreciate as many responses as possible before then, so that we have enough time to prepare our subvention grant application before the July 15 deadline. This will maximize our chances of being able to provide low-cost or free transportation for participants.
First, we would like to know which event(s) members and their families would prefer. We have prepared a short(ish) list of 6 family-friendly events. Before you rank your preferences, you may want to find out more information about them via the links below.
(Please note that these will take you to last year's information, due to the fact that organizations have not yet published 2015 info on their website. However, the CSW has confirmed with all organizations that these events will occur on the dates listed, with the exception of Central West End Trick-or-Treating, whose organizers have not yet responded.)
Thanks to Charity Lofthouse for putting this information together!
