Seven questions to harm reduction, HIV and other NGOs working in prisons |
1. Welcome
This survey aims to produce a brief overview on an NGO perspective regarding
• the role that NGOs play in prison health (particularly in relation to reducing drug-related harms, safer sex, providing support to people with living HIV or hepatitis C etc)
• the changes that could be expected from changing a legal authority (stewardship of) over prison health
The survey continues until September 24 and we would appreciate if you encouraged colleagues from other European and Central Asian countries to fill it in. The results will be summarized in a short paper and presented by Raminta Stuikyte, the European AIDS Treatment Group at the opening plenary of the European conference on prison health in Italy, September 2012.
