About the survey

One of the credos for female leadership groups in Iowa has been to help other women, but there are plenty of annecdotes to suggest that women in positions of power aren't as willing to give other women a hand up. A recent opinion piece in the New York Times co-authored by Sheryl Sandberg, author of "Lean In," tries to verify and measure how often women in power earn the nickname queen bees or catty women.

There's research to support both the assertion that this continues to happen and evidence that women in positions of power help other women succeed. We want to know what our Iowa LIFT readers' experiences are.

Your responses are confidential unless you share your name and information with us as an indication that we can use your name with your comments in a future article.
