Introduction

Thank you for taking the time to fill out this questionnaire. AMBAG is developing guidelines for the region’s REAP 2.0 program and we could use your help. The REAP 2.0 program builds on past and current work funded by the REAP 1.0 program, as well as LEAP and SB 2. One key advantage of the REAP 2.0 program is that funding can be used for capital projects which meet program objectives. Information on REAP 2.0 is provided at the end of this document.

When responding to the questions please provide any information you feel we should know about actions your agency is taking or plans to take that meet the objectives below. The information you share will help us provide the broadest range of support through the REAP 2.0 program.

Consider the required REAP 2.0 objectives in your responses:
  • Accelerating Infill Housing Development; and
  • Reducing Vehicle Miles Travelled, and
  • Affirmatively Further Fair Housing - Activities which combat discrimination, overcome patterns of segregation, and foster equitable and inclusive communities; include meaningful actions, that taken together, address significant disparities in housing needs and in access to opportunity, replacing segregated living patterns with truly integrated and balanced living patterns, and transforming racially and ethnically concentrated areas of poverty into areas of opportunity; support regional and local efforts that work towards ensuring all people have full and equal access to opportunities enabling them to lead healthy lives.
  • Implementing the regional Sustainable Communities Strategy – Balancing transportation improvements with planned housing and employment growth to reduce vehicle travel and promote multimodal communities.
