PCSEA 2024 Nomination - Reaching for the Stars - Reaching out for Others
The theme this year is "Reaching for the Stars - Reaching out for Others", acknowledging and celebrating Pilbara organisations and individuals who are striving for excellence - through innovation, collaboration, resilience and leadership - reaching out to meet the needs of the vulnerable and disadvantaged in our communities.
Please make sure you address the selection criteria outlined below in your response. You need to complete a new survey for each category you are nominating for.
DREAM award- Describe how the organisation has demonstrated innovative or creative 'out of the box' thinking to meet changing needs in its community. Provide details of new or improved service/program/initiative and the positive outcomes achieved. ENGAGE award - Describe how the organisation has demonstrated a collaborative, community-led or place-based approach to meet identified needs in its community. Provides details of positive outcomes achieved. IMPACT award - Describe how the organisation has made a positive and lasting impact on its community through innovation, collaboration, determination and leadership. Provide details of positive outcomes achieved and how these have been measured. Connecting Communities award - Provide details of your initiative and describe how you have demonstrated genuine community involvement and fostered community spirit. Describe how the initiative has made a positive and lasting impact on your community. Most Outstanding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Organisation - Describe how the organisation has demonstrated excellence in cultural service delivery and community engagement and made a difference to its community through a collaborative, innovative or creative approach. Gutsy and Courageous Young Person - Describe how the young person has tackled a difficult issue, spoken up or taken action to create positive change; displayed courage and determination when something was hard; and made a positive and lasting difference in their community.
GEM award - Describe how the individual has inspired others and made a difference in their community through their passion, commitment and leadership over many years.
Inspirational Community Hero - Describe how the individual has inspired others and made a positive difference in their community through their passion, commitment and leadership.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Future Leader - Describe their leadership journey, how they have demonstrated strong leadership qualities, inspired others and made a positive difference in their community.
