The City of Rapid City Parks & Recreation Department is excited to share that a new park development is planned in the neighborhood of Knollwood Heights. This park is generally located in the greenspace northeast of Knollwood Heights Elementary School, south of Interstate 90 and west of North LaCrosse
Street. This green space is currently an open grass and drainage area approximately 16.8 acres in size that includes a drainage area for storm-water runoff.  This project aims to develop the existing City land as a new park and community space for North Rapid City encouraging users to engage in outdoor recreation and deepen a sense of community identity and care.
