Youth Satisfaction Survey

This survey is intended for youth who are currently in foster care in California.

You have the power to improve the foster care system for yourself and others by taking the time to complete this survey. Your voice will bring light to the amazing experiences AND the not-so-great experiences you have with your caregivers. The responses here will help identify ways to support caregivers to be the best they can be to meet your needs.

This survey is voluntary and confidential and, by agreeing to move forward with this survey, you understand that your information will be housed and kept private by the California Foster Care Ombudsperson and an outside research organization, unless you otherwise give permission to share.

If you feel that your rights are being violated or you are in an unsafe place, please contact the Foster Care Ombudsperson's office at 1-877-846-1602 or by email at fosteryouthhelp@dss.ca.gov. If you need an immediate response, please call local law enforcement or your county child welfare agency/child protective services.
