BizLaunch - Sahuarita

Thank you for your interest in BizLaunch - Sahuarita.

The BizLaunch – Sahuarita program will provide participants with the tools necessary to turn their ideas into the core of a scalable startup company. Participants will be able to utilize critical thinking skills enabling them to identify critical gaps within their environments, and ideate solutions to address those gaps. Participants will showcase abilities to assess the feasibility of their ideas or ventures, build a business model and determine the resource needs required in implementing these ideas.

 

Five to six entrepreneurs (or teams) will be accepted into the Spring 2020 cohort. The entrepreneurs selected to participate in the program will receive a certificate from the University of Arizona Center for Innovation once their pitch at Demo Day is complete.

-April 22, 2020 - Info Session and Networking (Open to the Public)

 

-May 6, 2020, 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Sahuarita Town Hall - Session 1 Setting up Your Business and Legal Considerations for Your New Business

 

-May 13, 2020, 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Sahuarita Town Hall - Session 2 Business Model Canvas, Creating Your Value Proposition and Customer Discovery Techniques

 

-May 20, 2020, 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Sahuarita Town Hall - Session 3 Competition, Benchmarking and Plans for Monitoring

-May 27, 2020, 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Sahuarita Town Hall - Session 4 Marketing and Pitching, Storytelling and the Impact on Your Business

 

-June 3, 2020, 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Sahuarita Town Hall - Session 5 Team Requirements, Boards of Directors and Advisors

 

-June 10, 2020, 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Sahuarita Town Hall - Session 6

 

-June 17, 2020, 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Sahuarita Town Hall - BizLaunch Demo Day (Open to the Public)

 

*Attendance at all sessions is required for all those selected as participants in the cohort (with exception of the Info Session).
