The Asian Bank Scholarship Program rewards four (4) outstanding high school seniors with $2,000 each for college costs. To be considered, applicants must prove dedication to:

Established in 2015, the Asian Bank Scholarship Program provides underserved high school students in our local communities with the resources to pursue higher education. Scholarship awardees are determined each year by the Asian Bank Scholarship Committee.
ELIGIBILITY
  1. High school seniors who reside in Philadelphia County or attend a Philadelphia based school.
  2. Plan to attend a US accredited 4 Year College/University as a 1st Year student in the Fall of 2026 (if selected, applicant must provide college acceptance letter).
  3. Have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0.
  4. Have a household income at or below the County Low Income Level for the # of Persons in Family.
  5. Employees of Asian Bank and their immediate family members are NOT eligible to apply.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Completed application form
Documents to be Uploaded
  1. Recommendation letter from a counselor, teacher, peer, or relative.
  2. High School Transcript.
  3. Current resume highlighting work history, leadership roles, community involvement, as well as any notable achievements or awards.
  4. An essay in 750 words or less.
  5. Current Photo.
Additional Document Requirements


If selected, applicants will be notified by an Asian Bank employee to provide the following documents for verification.
  1. Tax Returns (2024 or 2025 tax returns)
  2. College Acceptance Letter
