Yoga for Student Athletes-Teacher Application

Thank you for applying to be a Yoga instructor for Yoga for Student Athletes. This program is designed to integrate Yoga into the training practice of young student athletes in both public and private schools to help them not only become better athletes on a physical level, but to help them become kinder, gentler, stress-resistant and happier people on and off the field. YSA is one of three programs we offer. The others are designed to integrate Yoga into school Physical Education and Classroom curriculums, so the entire student body can benefit. YSA is just a start. You could be part of something that will help shift a generation of people toward a culture filled with loving nature for others and especially for themselves. Since you will be working to shape the minds and bodies of our youth, it's important the we choose our teachers very carefully. It's not about having years of experience as a Yoga teacher, but more about the desire to make a difference in the lives of our youth. Yes, credentials help, but your enthusiasm and commitment to the program counts as much, if not more.
