$500 - Engage 50 or more volunteers
$350 - Engage 35 or more volunteers
$250 - Engage 25 or more volunteers

We will be awarding 10-15 partners for projects with Michigan organizations.

Purpose
These partner awards are intended to encourage volunteer projects that address:

Disaster Preparedness, Resiliency, and Mitigation: Helping communities prepare for, respond to and recover from natural and man-made disasters, including 1) Recognizing Risks, 2) Planning Ahead, 3) Gathering Supplies, and 4) What to Do During a Disaster. A project must be cost-effective and substantially reduce the risk of future damage, hardship, loss, or suffering resulting from a disaster.

Supporting Veterans & Military Families: Serving those who have served us, as well as engaging the talents of our veterans and military families.

Public Safety: Activities that protect community residents from fire or personal/property crime; provide for access to public safety personnel such as teaching school children about proper use of 911, matching law enforcement personnel with young volunteers to serve together etc.

Please note these funds are available solely to engage people in service projects – not community engagement events (i.e. prayer breakfasts, educational marches, ceremonies, etc.).
