1. Organizations and their runners agree to the following terms and conditions should they be awarded an invitational entry. Organizations must attest to the following:

• Should they receive a bib from the City of Newton that it is the only BAA invitational bib they will be receiving.

• They will not be receiving a bib from any other means even if the organization provides services in more than one city. Should the City find out an organization has received more than one it would disqualify them from the raffle in subsequent years. The City is trying to give all organizations the same fundraising opportunities.

• Has a physical location in the City.

2. Organizations can find and secure their own runner. If you have secured your own runner, you should indicate that below. Not indicating this means you will be receiving a runner from the City.

3. Organizations are responsible for ensuring runner(s) complete and return the entry waiver to the City of Newton.

4. Organizations/runners are required to work together to set up and use the BAA GivenGain as the online fundraising platform for the 2026 Boston Marathon. Details will be provided.

5. Charity runners must register and pay the BAA entry fee or the invitational entry will be forfeited and returned to the City.

6. Charity runners must fundraise or pay the full minimum donation amount of $8,500. Failure to raise the minimum $8,500 may result in the runner and/or organization not receiving a bib in subsequent years.

7. Organizations must report runner fundraising totals to the City (atimbers@newtonma.gov) no later than Friday, May 1.

8. Charity runners must agree to adhere to all terms and conditions set forth by the BAA.

By typing your name below you confirm that you have read the City of Newton Boston Marathon invitational entries policy and agree to adhere to that policy.
