Guidelines for Completing the Application Form
Leaders for Education is a one-year leadership development programme that partners school principals and business leaders in a co-learning and co-acting journey aimed at growing leadership capability and enhancing school functionality.
Why do business leaders participate in the Leaders for Education programme?
- The programme creates the opportunity for a business leader to partner with a school principal and support them with their expertise, experience and networks in a manner that strengthens the school principal’s leadership and change agent capabilities and leads to sustainable change at a school.
- The experience enriches the business leader who also develops their leadership muscles as they learn to influence and drive change without positional power and within a resource-constrained environment.
- Business leaders become more grounded and more aware of the realities and complexities in low-income communities in South Africa.
