Welcome

Thank you for participating in this survey.

This survey aims to collect a comprehensive snapshot of the current practices, opportunities and barriers for Public Health Units and practitioners to address unhealthy housing conditions in rental housing. In particular, we are interested in learning about public health engagement in collaboration across sectors and health equity approaches (i.e. processes that are inclusive of the perspectives and grounded expertise of tenants and others with relevant lived experience).

This survey is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete.  There are 13 sections in this survey.  Please submit your response by December 18, 2023.

Please ensure you hit the 'Done' button, at the end of this survey, in order to submit your responses.

This survey is conducted by RentSafe alongside our longstanding partner, Ontario Public Health Association (OPHA), and is part of an initiative funded by the Catherine Donnelly Foundation: Mobilizing intersectoral collaboration and grounded expertise toward healthy, safe homes for all.

In this survey, the term rental housing refers to housing with lease agreements recognized under the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA), such as private market rental housing and social housing.
