Tornado Relief Fund |
Application for Funding
The United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties established a Tornado Relief Fund in response to the devastating tornadoes that occurred on March 3, 2020. Funds will be used to support eligible organizations providing direct services to tornado victims.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Only applications of eligible organizations will be considered. Eligible organizations include: 501(c)3 nonprofits, entities of government, and religious institutions seeking funding for relief and recovery efforts in response to the March 3 tornadoes.
• Allowable uses of funds include: 1. Shelter and housing, 2. Basic necessities, 3. Short-term financial assistance, 4. Medical and health services, 5. Crisis counseling, 6.Transportation.
• Applications will be reviewed on an on-going basis pending available funding.
• All organizations receiving Tornado Relief 2020 grant funds will be required to account for their expenditures and report on the impact of the services funded. Deadlines and templates for these reports will be provided along with each approval notification.
Before you begin the application:
1. We suggest clearing your cache/ browser history to avoid possible technical errors.
2. Answers to the application cannot be saved. Therefore, we suggest typing your responses in a Word document. Responses can be copied and pasted from the Word document into the online application.
