Respect the shooting community by shooting only at appropriate targets.

Shooting at signs, kiosks, trash containers, buildings and other property is vandalism and illegal.

Pack out your trash including food wrappings, shotgun shells, brass or steel cases, and targets.

Spectators should remain behind shooting benches during any shooting activity.

Limit your time to one hour or less per shooter if others are waiting to shoot.

Be sure that everyone's firearms are unloaded and grounded (laid down) before anyone goes downrange.

Shooting at trees and other natural objects is illegal and leaves a negative image about shooters.

Be a thoughtful shooter and pick up litter and target trash left by others

Shooting household appliances or other objects dumped in shooting areas and on public lands negatively impacts the shooting community.

Shooting in developed recreation sites such as campgrounds, trail heads, and parking areas is prohibited.

Ask first before accessing private property.

Shooting across roads, trails, waterways or into caves is dangerous and often prohibited.

Always wear a personal floatation device (PFD)

Be courteous to other users on the trail

All users yield to horses.

Motorized and mechanized travel in Federally designated Wilderness Areas is prohibited.

Leave artifacts and fossils for others to enjoy.

Flying drones near forest fires creates hazards for firefighting aircraft. Do not fly near forest fires

When flying drones, avoid campgrounds in use.

Do not fly drones near wild animals.

Wetlands, lakes and streams are sensitive habitat. Avoid disturbing sensitive soils.

To prevent the spread of invasive species, do not move firewood.

Extinguished campfires should be cool to the touch. Never leave a hot campfire.

Respect all fire restrictions.

Demolishing or vandalizing trail signs reduces available funds for trail improvements and maintenance.

Respect no wake zones.

Wake creates erosion. Do not ride or boat near shore.

Be prepared for spills. Carry a spill-kit.

Respect avalanche warnings.

When riding in potential avalanche areas, always wear a beacon.

Respect and protect rock art.

Don't climb on ruins.

Keep pets leashed near protected sites.

Keep your drone in sight at all times.

You must have an appropriate license for commercial drone use.

Do not to fly drones within 25 ft of people, property or vehicles.

Do not fly drones higher than 400 ft above the ground.

Check fire restrictions with your local land manager.
