Introduction

AMBAG is developing guidelines for the region’s Regional Early Action Program 2.0 (REAP 2.0) and we could use your help. REAP 2.0 is a new grant program provided to our region by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). This grant is intended to help communities accelerate housing production, improve housing affordability, place housing closer to jobs, and reduce vehicle miles travelled in personal vehicles. In addition to these objectives, the grant seeks to address housing and infrastructure needs of communities, accelerate infill housing production to benefit disadvantaged communities, provide more transportation options, and affirmatively further fair housing.

When responding to the questions please provide any information you feel we should know about actions your community, neighborhood, or agency is taking related to the grant objectives. The information you share will help us provide the broadest range of support through the REAP 2.0 program under state and federal rules.
