This Masterclass is open to all Japan exporters from Great Southern with wines that meet the eligibility criteria. Those producers participating in the main tasting event are strongly encouraged to submit, however we will consider wines from all Japan exporters.

Cost to participate is $300 (ex GST) per SKU - masterclass to feature 6 wines in total (cost of wines and freight additional).

You may submit up to 2 SKUs for consideration per masterclass. We encourage you to submit a wine that best meets the selection criteria and is considered an exceptional regional example. Masterclass theme and criteria are highlighted below:

Great Southern Gems: Riesling & Syrah
  • 100% Great Southern GI fruit - Riesling and Syrah/Shiraz
  • 90+ points OR equivalent 3rd party endorsement
  • Wines must be available for purchase in Japan
