OBSIP Cascadia Data User Survey

The Ocean Bottom Seismograph Instrument Pool deployed the Amphibious Array as a part of the Cascadia Initiative from 2011 through 2015. We are interested in collecting user experiences with our instrumentation and the resulting data in an effort to ensure that issues are identified and addressed for future experiments and to guide future fleet investments or improvements.

Please take a few moments to provide feedback on your experience using data generated from these instruments to help us improve our fleet and facility in the future.

Question Title

* 1. Are you using the seismic data collected during the Cascade Initiative?

Question Title

* 2. Are you using differential pressure gauge (DPG) data?

Question Title

* 3. Are you using absolute pressure gauge (APG) data?

Question Title

* 4. Are you using strong motion data?

Question Title

* 5. Do you use horizontal component seismic data?

Question Title

* 6. Are you using temperature gauge data data?

Question Title

* 7. Have you identified any significant differences in the performance of shallow water vs. deep water instruments?

Question Title

* 8. Did you detect seasonal difference in the performance of the instruments?

Question Title

* 9. Please describe any specific benefits of the focused array your research employed.  The focused arrays were the densely-spaced stations deployed in North Cascadia for Year 1 and Year 3, and South Cascadia at the Mendocino Triple Junction for Year 2 and Year 4.
