The Native CDFI Network (NCN) invites Native CDFIs, Tribal Nations, and partners across Indian Country to sign on to a joint letter urging the Administration and Congress to immediately reverse the decision to terminate all CDFI Fund staff and abolish the Fund.
This action, announced October 10, 2025, would devastate Native communities by halting the distribution of critical federal investments through the Native American CDFI Assistance (NACA) Program, jeopardizing more than $500 million in capital for small business, housing, and community development projects.
The joint letter calls on federal leaders to:
- Reinstate CDFI Fund staffing and operations;
- Maintain $35 million for the NACA Program in FY 2026; and
- Uphold the federal trust and treaty responsibility to Tribal Nations.
Add your organization’s name today to stand with NCN and protect the future of Native CDFIs and the communities they serve. NCN will deliver this unified letter to the Administration and Congress to ensure Indian Country speaks with one powerful, coordinated voice.
