SIS Research is making a new survey to learn about teen health and growth. To make the survey better, we are conducting is interviews to know if the questions are easy to understand, how long it takes, and if they missed anything.
We need teens to take part in these interviews. The interview will ask about school attendance, leisure activities, physical activity and nutrition, healthcare services, and sexual consent. Teens will take the survey while an interviewer watches and asks questions to see if the survey is clear. The interviews will be on Zoom and in English.
Some of the questions related to sexual consent are sensitive. However, we will ask teens not to share responses specific to their own experiences for these items. We are only interested in whether the question and response options are clear and if the teen has any suggestions on how to improve them. We will not be collecting information related to their own experiences with sexual consent.
Teens who are picked need to be on time for their interview, have their camera and microphone on, and be in a quiet, safe place with no interruptions. There is little risk in doing the interview. Any discomfort will be like what people feel every day.
Teens will get a $100 e-card as a thank you.
