This study is being done to determine motivational factors involved in starting an exercise program by enrolling participants in an exercise program where they will perform short sprints on an indoor stationary bike (similar to spin class). Participants will be enrolled in a six-week exercise program to be performed 3 days per week. Exercise sessions will be monitored by a USDA researcher and held at the Grand Forks Human Nutrition Research Center (GFHNRC, 2420 2nd Ave North).  Each exercise session will last about 45 minutes and consist of of six, 30 second sprints with rest between.
   Six days of baseline assessments will take place assessing body composition, physical fitness, and exercise motivation before the 6-week exercise program begins.  Follow-up testing sessions will also take place after the 6-week exercise program and again 4-weeks after that.
   Qualifying and interested participants will be invited for a screening and consenting visit at the GFHNRC where information about this study will be given and further screening to assure eligibility will be completed. This study is being conducted by Drs. Kelsey Ufholz and James R. Roemmich of the GFHNRC in Grand Forks, ND.
