Application for YP Network Advisory Board

Three new Advisory Board members will be selected to serve two-year terms. This group will help drive the state's Young Professional credit union development and engagement efforts.

YP Network Advisory Board members must (1) be 35 years or younger at the time of nomination and (2) have permission from their CEO (or designee) to serve.

Please complete this online application and submit a signed Nomination Form by 5:00 pm CDT on Friday, August 10, 2018.

All applicants are required to complete the 2018 Nomination Form, which needs to be signed by your credit union's CEO/President, Board Chairperson, or designee.  The completed form should be emailed to jroberts@theleague.coop or faxed to (608) 250-2606.

Advisory Board Members' Duties and Expectations:
 
* Work with the League YP Network Liaison to guide professional development, education and networking activities for credit union employees in Wisconsin.
* Advise and assist with initiatives that demonstrate a commitment to credit union advocacy, collaboration, leadership, fundraising and volunteerism.
*Participate in conference calls and in‐person meetings as needed (no more than 2-3 in-person meetings per year, July ‐ June).
* Be expected to attend The League Annual Convention and the State Government Affairs Conference. Participation in YP events, like Boot Camps or local Meet Ups, is optional but welcomed.
* Additional participation and activities may be agreed upon, but Advisory Board members’ roles and time commitments will be respectful to existing credit union job duties.

Candidates will be notified of the selection results the week of August 20, 2018.
