Thank you for your interest in the Inaugural Young Professional Advisory Board (YPAB) here at the News-Press Media Group. We’re excited about the opportunity to hear from a select group of diverse and interesting individuals, like yourself on the issues that matter most to young professionals in our area! I know you have a few questions, so here’s a few answers, hopefully.

The lowdown on the Advisory Board:
Who: 20+ amazing and diverse young professionals from the SWFL community

What: Relaxed, open-formatted roundtable discussions

When: Meets once a month on the 3rd Tuesday from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Where: Many of the meetings will be at the Fort Myers Bureau and the rest will take place at relevant locations around SWFL.

Why: Here at the News-Press Media Group we are dedicated to keeping up with and staying ahead of the curve in this ever chaning business landscape. This Inaugural Young Professional Advisory Board (YPAB) is an innovation in itself, as this is unprecedented in our region and perhaps the nation. So, we invite you to share your voice and unique perspective on the world, country and community so that we may create content relevant to you and deliver it to you in the best way possible, whether it be via Snapchat, Periscope, Facebook, or online we want to know what matters most to you.

Term: One Year: January - December 2019

Benefits: Each YPAB member will receive a free digital subscription to The News-Press for the duration of their term (Wooohooo!)

Restrictions: Unfortunately, those who are running for or who are in an elected office are not eligible for consideration.

We will consider each applicant carefully and expect to announce the board via email in early January 2018.
Please make sure that you have Tuesday, January 16th from 5:30-7pm tentatively blocked-off on your calendar for the first meeting, if you are chosen to be a part of the board.
