No one can deny that 2020 has fundamentally changed the way we live in Australia.  After a devastating summer of bushfires, we’re now faced with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The rapid and far-reaching social, economic and political changes of the past few months will continue to play out over the next few years, and possibly decades.

Decisions made now, and in the coming months, will shape our future.

The Kerferd Oration Committee, in partnership with Quercus Beechworth, is now seeking your feedback about how YOU would like to do democracy in Australia in the aftermath of the COVID-19 crisis.  If you’re not aged 18-30, we’d still love to get your ideas about the things you think are important to you.

This survey will be followed up by a series of online local meetings across Indigo Shire in late April and early May.
