Everything Your Community Needs to Know About the New Lead and Copper Rule

There are a lot of changes to Michigan’s new Lead and Copper Rule and the Michigan Municipal League is co-sponsoring a free “You Need to Know” event to help break it down for you. At the event presenters will provide an overview of Michigan’s new Lead and Copper Rule. Municipalities and water supplies across Michigan participated in the stakeholder process during the rule revision. There were lots of versions of the rule. Find out what changes made it into the final rule and the potential impact on your community. This event is sponsored by the League, the Michigan Townships Association, the Michigan Chapter of the American Public Works Association, Michigan Rural Water Association, the Michigan Chapter of the American Water Works Association, and SEMCOG and is FREE to attend.
