Regional Solutions is a uniquely Oregon approach to community and economic development that brings together the public, private and civic sectors to advance projects, solve problems, seize opportunities, and respond to emerging local needs. The program is organized into 11 regions, each of which has a Governor-appointed Advisory Committee that sets Regional Priorities and a cross-functional Team of state agency staff that works together to move projects forward. Regional Solutions Coordinators live and work in the communities they serve and provide a direct connection to the Governor’s Office.
This partnership between the state, local governments, sovereign Tribal nations, businesses, philanthropy and community-based organizations seeks to ensure effective state government support, create durable solutions, and serve as a conduit between the Governor and local communities.
