Call for Proposals: Equity in the Classroom Conference
In collaboration with the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and the Center of Equity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement, a faculty member will be selected to represent Madison College at the Equity in the Classroom Conference on December 2, 2019. The selected Madison College faculty will present a 10 minute presentation and assist with site facilitition tasks. The presenter will receive a $200 stipend.

- Advancing engaged inclusivity in teaching and learning
- Providing replicable cirricular innovations, course re-designs, or culturally relaevant and responsive pedagagies
- Advancing Inclusive evidence-based theory-to-practice models that connect research and scholarship with effective approaches to developing courses, curricula, pedagogies, and assessment practices
- Engaging students in high-quality learning experiences that ensure all members of the community feel valued and respected.
- Designing and facilitating critical dialogues to advance understanding across difference and promote idea sharing for institutional transformation.
- Decreasing diversity resistance and advancing commitment to diversity
