* 10. Participants are REQUIRED to attend editorial meetings and trainings so they properly develop the skills to produce print, video, and/or radio stories. The meetings occur about every other Friday near downtown Long Beach from 4:30PM to 6:30PM. Some meetings may also happen school days after 5PM if we have special guests or if we are invited to cover breaking news and other major events.

If considered for the program, we will contact you for an interview at our office.

We will be able to provide transportation or travel costs if you are 18 or under and live in North or West Long Beach.

Since we meet about every other week: Will you commit to attend all or at least 80% of meetings this season (which begins late January and ends around June)?
