This survey is being distributed to gather information about source-separation of organic materials and donation of edible food in Vallejo in preparation for a new state law, SB 1383.

The City’s organic materials recycling program includes the collection and recycling of leftover food scraps, food soiled paper like coffee filters and pizza boxes, and yard clippings and vegetative matter.

The City is required to begin enforcement on non-compliant customers (January 1, 2024).
