This survey is intended for active Architectural Registration Exam (ARE) candidates, currently in the process of testing or beginning to test in the near future.

During August of last year, NCARB announced several new and revised testing requirements for the ARE. Additionally, NCARB launched a proctored exam option for candidates not whishing to visit a Prometric testing center amidst a global pandemic.

Based on continuing communication with California candidates, responses to the proposed changes have been mixed. To better understand our members’ needs, the AEP, in partnership with Emerging Professional leadership from the AIA Los Angeles chapter, have generated this survey to obtain feedback on your recent testing experiences.

Thank you for volunteering your time to help AIA California’s Academy for Emerging Professionals (AEP) understand your recent testing experience.
