I go underground to mine, but I don't use it as a place to stay or keep things. I stay underground for the Blood Moon, but my day-to-day life is on the surface. My day-to-day base is underground, but I'm on the surface for the Blood Moon. I stay underground for the Blood Moon and most other days, but I still enjoy activities on the surface.
