Safety Nets for Texas Students is a new collaborative project between Texas Network of Youth Services, Texas Homeless Network, and Texas Homeless Education Office generously funded by the Rebuild Texas Foundation. Our goal is to work in partnership with schools and community-based providers in all regions of Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey, excluding Harris County, to support schools and community-based organizations in meeting needs of students and families experiencing homelessness related to the effects of the hurricane.

Support will include:
 - Training and technical assistance offered to school personnel and community service providers
 - Grants to help community-based organizations increase their capacity to better meet the need

As we kick off this important initiative, we want to know more about what's going on in your community/school/organization so that we can plug into existing efforts, join meetings/groups on this topic, and start offering training and support in your communities.

We know that many of you are deep in hurricane recovery work on a daily basis.  Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete this survey. You are welcome to contact Lara O'Toole, LOToole@tnoys.org or 512-815-3079 to discuss your needs by phone.
