Art 4 Kids Student Enrolment - Term 3 2026 Survey

Art 4 Kids is a term-based program of after school art classes for children aged from *7-11 years who would love the opportunity to explore their creativity in a safe and happy environment under the supervision of an experienced art facilitator.

Art 4 Kids run from 4-5pm each Wednesday during school term dates, and the classes will be conducted from the Rockingham Arts Centre, located at 11 Kent Street Rockingham.

Please register your child for the Art 4 Kids program two weeks prior to the beginning of each term to secure your space in the program. Classes are limited to 12 participants and a wait list will be created if a position becomes available.

Full payment of $185.00 for each 10 week term is to be made prior to class commencement.

Call the Rockingham Arts Centre on 9527 0734, Wednesday to Sunday, 9am to 4pm to pay in-person, or over the phone.

Art 4 Kids is an after school program delivered by an independent facilitator and the City of Rockingham is unable to provide carers, or aides to assist monitoring children. Art 4 Kids is a safe and happy environment for all attendees and consideration must be given for all students to enjoy the class free from disruption.

Terms and Conditions

9.Attendance and Absences(Required.)

Art 4 Kids cannot provide supervision for children outside of the scheduled class times. Please arrive no earlier than five minutes before start of lesson, to allow time for sign-in, and arrive five minutes before the end of the session to ensure your children are not unsupervised at end of class. To ensure your child’s safety, participants are to be escorted to and from Rockingham Arts Centre’s multi-purpose room at the close of each class, and signed in and out by a parent or assigned caregiver. If your child is unable to attend a class, please advise the facilitator in advance by phone call or text.

10.Behaviour(Required.)

Art 4 Kids is about having fun and learning in a happy, diverse, safe and supportive environment. Unruly or disruptive behaviour that impacts the facilitator and/or other participants, such as bullying, teasing, physical altercations, stealing, and unsafe use of space etc. will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Parents will be requested to collect their child immediately if they behave in an unacceptable manner. Participants should be able to independently manage their needs and belongings, including toileting and hygiene. Use of mobile phones and electronic devices are not to be used during class. All devices must be placed on silent and put away prior to entering the workshop.

11.Clothing(Required.)

Due to the potentially messy nature of an art class all students must wear appropriate clothing, which includes closed in footwear. Items of clothing such as school uniforms, loose fitting tops and baggy sleeves are to be avoided. It is recommended students wear an old long-sleeved shirt or apron. The Rockingham Arts Centre and the Art 4 Kids facilitator will not be responsible for any damaged or stained clothing due to paint, glue, ink, markers etc.

12.Payment(Required.)

Term payments may be made at the RAC in person, or via phone payment. The full term payment of $185.00 per 10 week term is due within five days after registering online for the classes. The class facilitator is not responsible for any enrolment bookings and/or payments. All payments are to be processed by a Rockingham Arts Centre Officer who can be contacted on 08 9527 0716 or at artscentre@rockingham.wa.gov.au If the Rockingham Arts Centre cancels a class, or classes, an additional class, or classes may be offered at a later date. If the centre is unable to accommodate and additional class, or classes, a refund will be offered at a pro-rata fee for each lesson cancelled. Cancellation of Enrolment: If advice of a cancellation is received before week two of term, you will only be charged for the sessions attended, after which you will be charged for the full term.

13.Collection Notice(Required.)

The City of Rockingham is collecting your personal information to enrol your child in the Art 4 Kids after school art program at the Rockingham Arts Centre. It may also be used for secondary purposes which would be reasonably expected.

We will share this information with our Art 4 Kids facilitator so they can deliver the program.

If you choose not to provide your personal information, we will be unable to process the application as we require these details to contact you in the event of a cancellation, postponement or emergency.
