We, the undersigned, call on Premier Ford and the Niagara Parks Commissioners to meaningfully consult Niagara residents before signing long-term deals to use public green space in Queen Victoria Park.

We support tourism, good jobs, and smart investment - but we are asking the province release the key details of the proposal and hold meaningful public consultation before any final approval or long-term lease is signed.

Niagara residents and our business community deserve full public consultation and a better plan for tourism investment before any long-term lease is signed.

Context: Niagara Parks has selected a private sector operator for a proposed part attraction, part transportation system through Queen Victoria Park and has signed a Letter of Intent toward a long-term lease, subject to provincial approval.
