First Nations LGBTQIA+SB feedback

Ahead of the 2025 Festival, Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (SGLMG) are seeking feedback from the LGBTQIA+SB Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities about your feedback on the 2024 Festival, SGLMG events and programs and what you would like to see as part of the Festival in 2025 and beyond.

The results of this survey will be compiled in a recommendations report that will impact key decision making and will take approximately 5-8 minutes to complete, we thank you in advance for your time.

Please note the following:

  • The results of this survey are completely anonymous. You do not have to provide any personal details or create a SurveyMonkey account to complete this survey.
  • All questions are optional. There is no obligation to answer all the questions, only the ones specific to you, if you choose to provide feedback.

2.This year SGLMG produced Festival First Light, a dawn event which Welcomed us to Country and marked the beginning of our festival. Festival First Light was curated by a First Nations Creative Consultant and included a Smoking Ceremony and performances by the Buuja Buuja-Butterfly Dance Group.
