Pre-registration and audition required, no onsite registration the day of competition.
Talent Contest Rules
Each act will be allowed a total of FIVE (5) minutes to perform.
No profanity or vulgar lyrics in any vocal performances or dance music. This is a family show!
Keep attire at a respectable and tasteful level.
NO alcohol, tobacco, or drug advertisements are to be shown on any clothing.
All acts will use only the sound system operator provided by CORE, however, instrumentalists may bring their own amplifiers, if needed. Sound Technician and microphone(s) will be provided. YOU must provide your own CD music, taped music, instruments, props, keyboard, etc., if needed. All music must be on CD, good quality, cued, labeled with acts name and address, and brought to Talent Contest registration table one hour before starting time on the day of competition.
NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE TO THESE RULES!
Talent Contest Day
Check in 45 minutes before the contest at the talent show registration table. Please mark any CD used for your act clearly with your name and song to be played. Pick up your CD after the program. CORE is not responsible for items left.
Talent Contest Judging
Scoring will be based on the following criteria
a) PERSONALITY - 10 points
b) ORIGINALITY - 10 points
c) SOUND - 10 points
d) COSTUME - 10 points
e) GENERAL IMPRESSION - 10 points
