The Children's Commission is offering registration scholarships to qualified attorneys in the form of waived registration fees to attend one of the dates for the 2026 TexasBarCLE's one-day Advanced Family Law Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) Workshop:

  • Live CAN Workshop in San Antonio on August 12, 2026
  • Video Replay in Carrollton on September 18, 2026
  • Video Replay in Galveston on October 9, 2026
  • Live Webcast replays on September 25 and October 30, 2026

This scholarship opportunity is limited to those qualifying attorneys who are only attending the one-day CAN Workshop and cannot be applied to registrations for the full Advanced Family Law Course, which includes the CAN Workshop.

Applicants should note that the Children’s Commission is not able to reimburse attorneys who pay the State Bar of Texas directly for registration to the CAN Workshop.
