About This Survey This short survey asks about your experience reviewing or using the GREAT framework for ethical decision-making, with a focus on how well it supports clear, practical, and thoughtful ethical reflection and decision-making in practice. Your feedback will help identify what is working well and where the framework or related materials could be clarified, revised, or strengthened.
The survey should take approximately 5-7 minutes to complete. The rating-scale questions are required, while written responses are optional, but strongly encouraged to help us best understand how to interpret and implement feedback. Please answer honestly based on your own role, experience, and perspective.
The GREAT Framework
The GREAT framework is Unity Health Toronto's principle-based approach to ethical decision-making. It is intended to support individuals within and across Unity, including staff and patients, in working through ethical issues in a structured, reflective, and values-informed way. The framework consists of 4 steps: (1) Gather, (2) Refine, (3) Evaluate, and (4) Act with Transparency.

For your ease of reference, the framework and its related materials are provided below for your review.
