Criteria for Young Engineer of the Year Award:

This award recognizes a young TSPE member who has made outstanding contributions to the engineering profession and the community during the early years of one’s career.

Any licensed Professional Engineer (PE), Engineering Intern (EI), or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and NSPE/TSPE member in good standing, who is 34 years of age or younger as of January 1, 2024 is eligible for nomination. In addition to this year’s submittals, the three applicants receiving the highest score from last year’s submittals are considered, assuming they continue to meet all other criteria.
